1. Who We Are
PixelBoop is operated by Audiolux ("we", "us", "our"). We're a small team that builds music creation tools. We care about privacy because we're users too.

2. Data We Collect

- No device fingerprinting — we don't track your device
- No location data — we don't need to know where you are
- No contact lists — we never access your contacts
- No microphone/camera — the app doesn't use these
- No advertising identifiers — no ads, no tracking
2.3 Technical Data
Our servers may automatically log:
- IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
- Request timestamps
- Browser/app version (from User-Agent header)
These logs are retained for 30 days maximum and are not linked to your identity.

- Community Jams: Jams you upload are public (CC0) by design
- Service providers: We use Vercel (hosting), Turso (database), and Resend (email) — they process data on our behalf under strict agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law (subpoena, court order)
5. Data Storage & Security
- Location: Data is stored in the United States
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Access: Only authorized team members can access user data
- Retention: We keep data as long as needed for the service
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Delete: Request deletion of your data
- Correct: Update inaccurate information
- Export: Download your jams in .pbjam format
- Opt out: Unsubscribe from emails anytime

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
PixelBoop is designed to be safe for users of all ages, including children under 13.
- We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what's necessary for the service
- Community Jams are public — we recommend parental guidance for children sharing content
- Parents can contact us to review, delete, or restrict their child's data
8. iOS App Privacy
The PixelBoop iOS app:
- Works completely offline — no network required for core features
- Stores jams locally on your device
- Only connects to the network when you upload/download Community Jams
- Declares "Data Not Collected" in App Store privacy labels
9. Cookies
The pixelboop.com website uses minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies: Session management (if logged in)
- No tracking cookies: We don't use advertising or analytics cookies

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll notify users of significant changes through the app or website. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when changes were made.
