Common Issues

How do I install the beta?

Sign up for beta access on our homepage, then open the TestFlight link we provide. You'll need TestFlight installed from the App Store.

The app isn't making sound

Check these common fixes:

  • Make sure your device isn't in silent mode
  • Check the volume slider in the app
  • Try closing and reopening the app
  • Restart your device if issues persist
How do I sync with other devices?

Pixelboop supports multi-device sync over local WiFi. Make sure all devices are on the same network, then check the Wiki for detailed sync instructions.

Where are my jams saved?

Your jams are automatically saved locally on your device. You can also export and share them with the community.

When will Pixelboop be available on Android/Web?

We're actively working on Android and web versions. Join our Discord for updates on release timelines.

Getting started: Touch the note pads in the lower half to play. Touch higher or lower in an upper control to change the sound. Pixelsynth works on its own; plugin use requires a separate compatible AUv3 host.

For a technical issue, include your iPhone or iPad model, OS version, Pixelsynth version, and the host app if you are using AUv3. Select “Pixelsynth” in the form below, or email hello@pixelboop.com.
